Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General inspects vaccination of basic education students above age of 12

As vaccination plays an important role in prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19, vaccination programs have been carried carried out energetically in respective states and regions with the aim of enabling students, teachers and parents to go to school in peace of mind when schools can be reopened and students above the age of 12 have been inoculated against COVID-19 since 12 October 2021.
In his capacity as the chairman of the Committee for Control and Emergency Response of COVID-19, the Vice Senior General, accompanied by Lt-Gen SoeHtut and union ministers DrNyuntPe, DrThetKhaing Win, DrThetThetKhaing and Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council DrMaungMaungNaing, inspected the vaccination of students above the age of 12 at the hall of MingalarbyuharSasanaBeikman in Nay Pyi Taw and spoke words of encouragement this morning. Then, the Vice Senior General distributed masks to students free of charge and inspected the implementation of QR Code vaccination certificates to be issued for people who are fully vaccinated.
The vaccination program for students above the age of 12 at the hall has been implemented since 12 October and 3,814 students out of 11,556 students eligible for the vaccines so far. Vaccines will be administered to the remaining students.
