Union Minister for International Cooperation receives delegation  headed  by 1st Vice-President of Russia-Myanmar Association of  Friendship and  Cooperation

U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister  for International Cooperation received the delegation headed by Mr Anatoly Bulochnikov,  1st Vice-President of the  Russia-Myanmar Association of  Friendship and Cooperation at  the Union  Minister’s Office at  the Office No. (9) in Nay Pyi Taw  on 27 October 2021 at 2:00 pm.

During the meeting, the  Union Minister firstly men[1]tioned the progress of the bilateral relations between Russia and Myanmar since the  1990s through  the exchange   of high-level visits, signing the numbers of bilateral agreements as well as multi-sectoral  cooperation programmes.

Afterwards,  they exchanged  views on the extension of activities with the Russia- Myanmar Association of Friendship and Cooperation with the aim  to enhance friendship, cooperation and people-to-people contact between the two countries and further enhancement  of cooperation, including the  forth-coming meeting of the Bilateral Trade and Commerce Commission.

Also present at the meeting  were the Permanent Secretary   and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
