Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in- Chief of Defence  Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits commemorative booths for 74th founding anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air)

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commanderin- Chief of  Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife  Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Commanderin- Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and wife, Commanderin- Chief (Air) General Maung Maung Kyaw and wife, union ministers, retired commandersin- chief (Air) and wives, senior military  officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, and the commander of Central Command, visited the commemorative booths marking the 74th founding anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air) displayed at the Flying Training Base in Meiktila Station this morning.

First, the Senior General pressed the button to open the commemorative booths and souvenir shops. Next, accompanied by those present, the Senior General viewed round the historical records of the Air Force, the uniforms worn in successive eras, the documentary photos of the Air Force, the documentary photos of the successive Commandersin- Chief (Air), the Air Force’s activities in the battles of Mongyan, Methawaw and Sisi Wan Tarpan, the documentary photos of members of the Air Force who received gallantry medals, the documentary photos of commissioned military aircrafts and helicopters, the documentary photos of training of Air Force officers, other ranks and replacements, the documentary photos of the Air Force’s international relations, the documentary photos of evolution and  developments of the Air Force from 2012 to 2020, the documentary photos of successive Commandersin- Chief awarding outstanding pilots, avionics used in aircrafts and helicopters, scale models of modern new-generation fighter planes and equipment of pilots, aviation navigator VNR-AF 1 produced by the Air Force and military security and disease prevention system equipment.

Then, the Senior General and wife and party gave their signatures in the commemorative book of the 74th founding anniversary of Tatmadaw (Air), viewed the gift shops of respective air force bases, Myanmar traditional food

shops, book shops and shops selling consumer goods produced by the  Tatmadaw and cordially greeted the officers, other ranks and their families.
