State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min  Aung Hlaing receives Indian Ambassador to Myanmar

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General  Min Aung Hlaing received Indian Ambassador to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Saurabh Kumar who had completed his tour of duty at the parlour of the Office of the  Chairman of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting, the Senior General expressed his condolence to General Bipin Rawat, the Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, who lost his life in the recent crush of helicopter in India. They exchanged views on  friendly ties and cooperation measures between Myanmar and India, assistance of India to Myanmar for prevention of COVID- 19, cooperation in bilateral trade and economic affairs, cooperation in other arenas including agriculture and livestock tasks, and cooperation in friendly relations, security and defence sectors between the two armed forces of both countries.

Also present at the meeting were Joint Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin.
