Vice-Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win addresses the third meeting of the Central Committee to Observe 74th Anniversary Independence Day 2022

Central Committee to Observe 74th Anniversary Independence Day 2022 held its third meeting at the meeting room of State Administration Council Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw with an address by Chairman of the central committee Vice Chairman of SAC Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win.
Also present were Union ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Dr Thet Khaing Win, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr Maung Maung Naing, deputy ministers and officials and invited officials who participated in the meeting through video conferencing.
In his address, the Vice-Senior General said detailed discussions were held subcommittee wise at the first and second meetings. At this meeting, the subcommittees should present the latest developments including accomplishments, future programs and requirements in connection with their assigned tasks.
Then, Flag Hoisting and Saluting Subcommittee, Flag Hoisting Ceremony, Preparations and Invitations Subcommittee, Independence Day Reception and Dinner Subcommittee, Fireworks Subcommittee, Security Subcommittee, Information Sub-committee, Independence Day Message Compilation Subcommittee, Health Subcommittee, Sports Competitions Subcommittee, and Audit Subcommittee presented the progress of work. The Vice-Senior General looked into the requirements.
In the concluding address, the Vice-Senior General called for collective efforts for the first national-level occasion of 2022 to have the required status and auspiciousness. He spoke of the need to make efforts for the dynamism of spirit to value and respect independence and sovereignty and to safeguard the sovereignty with internal strength while welcoming the New Year with new mental and physical strength. The meeting then came to an end.
