Myanmar women’s football team stands third in ASEAN

MYANMAR women’s national football team is currently standing third in the ASEAN region with 47th in FIFA ranking and 1,522 points earned, according to a recent statement with the ASEAN Football Federation.
Myanmar has taken 45th position in the world ranking last year and now has decreased two ranking to 47th. Viet Nam Women’s Team is still leading the ASEAN Zone with 32nd in FIFA ranking and 1,659 points garnered and Thailand is in the second place with 39th of FIFA rank and 1603 points collected.
The Philippines team is in fourth place in ASEAN with 64th FIFA rank plus 1,386 points earned. Next, Laos is the fifth with 84th of FIFA rank and team Indonesia is sixth with 88th ranking of FIFA. Singapore team is in the seventh with 134 of FIFA ranks.
The Myanmar women’s national football team has been known or nicknamed the “Asian Lionesses” and the team is made up of many ASEAN star players.
