Pansay Creek Bridge on TadaUInwa Road opened to mark Diamond Jubilee Union Day

The Pansay Creek Bridge on the TadaU-Inwa Road, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region was opened yesterday with a ceremony to mark Diamond Jubilee Union Day.

Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Maung Ko, Commander of the Central Command Maj-Gen Ko Ko Oo, officials and invitees from the Ministry of Construction attended the ceremony.

First, the chief minister, the commander of the Central Command and officials cut the ribbon to inaugurate the bridge and the stone plaque at the opening ceremony.

After that, the Chief Minister, the commander and members sprayed scented water on the stone plaque and inspected the bridge.

The bridge construction began on 25 November 2020. It is a 31 feet wide and 300 feet long bridge built at the cost of K1,150 million, officials said.
