The Vice-Senior General said the SAC could overcome all the challenges and difficulties with the united efforts of people who love peace and stability, loyal civil servants and security members during the over one year old emergency period. During the period, some big countries and internal terrorist groups instigated violence, threatened civil servants to join the CDM to halt the government machinery, created chaos in currency flow for the collapse of the banking system, made attempts to stop passenger and commodity flow through various means including political and economic sanctions to topple the government in office. They were trying to reach their goal of total annihilation through armed violence.

The government overcame all those dangers with the peace-and-stability loving national people. As unity ensures success, collective force will be the answer to all the coming dangers. The country

firmly stands on Our Three Main National Causes in international relations while protecting the nation’s sovereignty through independent and active policy, the policy to ensure global peace and long lasting friendship, peaceful co-existence.

In addition, they were applying various means to disintegrate the Tatmadaw. They flattered deserter officers and other ranks who left the Tatmadaw for fear of punishment for their wrong doings as democracy heroes, spread propagandas as if the unity of Tatmadaw was broken up and it was facing military defeats, and launched surprise attacks against security forces who were protecting the public live and property. Their main goals are the disintegration of the Tatmadaw. In accord with its motto of unity, the Tatmadaw remains compact and united in the midst of the attempts to sow seeds of mistrust. Officials at all levels should fulfill the basic needs and health and transport needs of soldiers and their families. So they could do their job in peace of mind.

Tatmadaw members must be fit and healthy to perform their main duty, which is the national defence, with might and main. Soldiers and their families should strictly follow the knowledge given by the medical corps and undergo medical tests. They should perform their security duties well without leaving any loopholes.

The Vice-Senior General gave on-the-spot solutions for the requirements presented by officers, other ranks and families.

After presenting foodstuff and cash assistance, he cordially conversed with them.
