Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief  of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win visits patients, physicians, medical officers and nurses at Defence Services Hospital

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief  of Defence Services Commanderin-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, accompanied by Lt-Gen Aung Zaw Aye of the Office of the Commander-in- Chief (Army), senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and Commander of Eastern Command Maj-Gen Ni Lin Aung, visited officers, other ranks and families who were receiving treatments at the Defence Services Hospital in Aungban in Shan State (South) and spoke words of encouragement to them and made a speech to physicians, medical officers and nurses at the hospital separately.

First, the Vice -Senior General and party were welcomed by the commandant  and officers of the hospital before enquiring after officers, other ranks and families who were receiving treatments at the hospitals their health, speaking words of encouragement and providing foodstuffs and assistance to them.

Then, the Vice-Senior General met with physicians, medical officers and nurses at the hall of the hospital separately and comprehensively explained the needs to perform duties of the country with the same objectives as they are personnel of the Tatmadaw despite the different nature of duties, the contribution made with medical science one has learnt in accordance with the spirit, disciplines and obedience of orders, 24-hour readiness ofthe Tatmadaw to offer relief efforts in case of natural disasters, provision of healthcare services to local national peoples at any time, offering healthcare services by military doctors and nurses in healthcare crisis caused by some healthcare staff who joined the CDM during the state of emergency since 1 February 2021, the physical and technical cooperation of defence services personnel during the third wave of COVID-19 and vaccination programs, the importance of keeping the fine tradition of earning the trust not only of service personnel and families but also of national peoples and the needs for responsible officers at various levels as defence services personnel to facilitate tasks relating to administrative matters in genral staff, adjutant and quartermaster affairs of inferior personnel and families in terms of the chain of command and the organizational structure in addition to healthcare services.

Then, the Vice-Senior General and party proceeded to the cardiovascular  diagnostic and treatment centre and the intensive care unit and inspected the angiogram machine, where responsible officers explained the operations of the machine.

Similarly, Daw Than Than Nwe, wife of the Vice-Senior General, and party visited the obstetrics and gynecology ward and spoke words of encouragement and presented assistance to pregnant mothers.

Afterwards, the Vice-Senior General presented cash rewards for defence services medical personnel to the commandant of the hospital.
