Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief  of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win meets officers, other ranks and families of Mongmaw Station

Nay Pyi Taw March 20

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief  of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win met officers, other ranks and families of Mongmaw Station, Central Command, this afternoon.

Also present were Daw Than Than Nwe, wife of the Vice-Senior General, Lt- Gen Aung Zaw Aye of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army), senior military officers from the Office of the Commanderin-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and Commander of Central Command Maj-Gen Ko Ko Oo.

The Vice-Senior General said SAC is implementing the adopted five-point  roadmap and nine objectives in serving the State’s interest in accord with the 2008 Constitution. As the Tatmadaw is a part of the nation, Tatmadaw members should be dutiful in their respective roles of the State’s affairs. The ultimate goal of the political extremists is total annihilation.

They used various means of cohesion and lures in pressing civil servants into joining CDM with the intention of halting the State machinery. Loyal State servants including Tatmadaw member technicians refilled the post left behind by the service personnel who betrayed the State in various sectors. The public, loyal State servants and security forces could overcome the difficulties caused by the highly infectious Delta variant during the COVID-19 third wave with the collective strength.

They will continue to overcome difficulties and challenges with this strength.

As their violent protests and CDM did not work well, the extremists resorted to terrorists acts of killing innocent people and launching surprise attacks against security forces. They then tried to realize their ultimate goal of disintegrating the Tatmadaw. In doing so, they were posting and spreading false news and fabrications on irresponsible social media. But the Tatmadaw is standing firm against those attacks with solid unity. As they will continue  to materialize their ultimate goal Tatmadaw members and families should ward off such attacks with everlasting unity.

Unity calls for mutual respect between the upper and lower levels, a balanced administration, good moral and discipline, obedience and the observance of 60 codes of conduct. As for Tatmadawmen to serve the State duties with peace of mind, the role of their spouses is vital.

Commanders should always bear in mind the means to ensure social security of soldiers and their families. They should fulfill the health, education and basic needs of soldiers and families to the best of their ability within their powers and rights with kindness. They must fully ensure their rights from their salaries to rations.

Only then will the soldiers be able to put their efforts and concentration fully in their State duties. Campaigns must be launched for the awareness of physical and mental health.

The Vice-Senior General gave on-the-spot solutions for the requirements presented by officers, other ranks and families. Vice-Senior General Soe Win presented foodstuff for soldiers and their families of the station, Lt-Gen Aung Zaw Aye sports equipment, Daw Than Than Nwe cash award for the station maternal and child welfare association through officials.

After the meeting, the Vice-Senior General and party cordially conversed with soldiers and families of the station.
