Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commanderin-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win inspects Tatmadaw (Army) warrant officer and sergeant supervisory training school in Bahtoo Station; meets with trainees

NAY PYI TAW April 4

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by Lt-Gen Aung Zaw Aye and senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of Eastern Command and officials, inspected Tatmadaw (Army) warrant officer and sergeant supervisory training school, Bahtoo Station, this morning.

The Vice-Senior General and party inspected trainees of computer diploma course who were taking practical and theoretical lessons at the Myawady lecture hall of the school and the lecture halls.

At the briefing hall, the commandant of the school explained the ongoing four unit developmenttasks and training sessions.

The Vice-Senior General looked into the requirements.

At his meeting with trainees of the computer diploma course, the Vice-Senior General said trainees should be well-versed in the subjects taught in accord with the objectives. Systematic knowledge about computer science is helpful in building a Standard Army. Trainees must pursue their studies through practices till they can apply their professional knowledge in the practical field. Even after the completion of their studies, they should continue to study the ever changing technologies.

As they are Tatmadaw members they must be dutiful and have international knowledge. The main duty of the Tatmadaw is national defence. As there surfaced forceful means to grab power through vote rigging in the 2020 election, Tatmadaw declared a state of emergency in accord with the 2008 Constitution and assumed duties according to the principles of the emergency period to keep democracy on its track. All the difficulties and challenges could be overcome with the collective involvement of loyal civil servants, security forces and national people during the over one year period. During 2021, peaceful demonstrations turned into violent acts including arsons attacks against factories, killings after branding people who did not join forces with them as informers, extortions and threats through the use of illegal weapons and explosives.

Their ultimate goal was the total annihilation of the country. Moreover, service personnel were forced to join the CDM through enticements and threats including social punishments with the goal of toppling the government. But the gap in public services caused by some CDM movements was refilled by Tatmadaw member technicians and local civil servants.

As part of their attempt to have geographical influences, some powerful countries persuaded some EAOs and terrorist groups through various forms of assistance, and helped arrange explosives courses and terror courses to prevent the government from its standing.

However, this could be overcome thanks to the unity and strength of the people, loyal service personnel and security forces. Their attempt for utter destruction was failed. Again in 2022, in addition to such attempts, they are also trying to break up the unity of the Tatmadaw. Since its establishment after regaining independence, the Tatmadaw has been constantly serving the country as a national duty. It tried its best to prevent any danger that could befall the country.

The terrorist organizations, as puppets of some powerful countries, are attempting to break up the Tatmadaw, the strongest institution of the country.

Most of our Myanmar people are always on the right side by holding the spirit of “not being afraid whenever threatened and not being soft when ever appeased”. Despite such countries’ threat, interference and accusations against genocide, the Tatmadaw will overcome these through a united strength. With their united strength that means living in weal and woe and through thick and thin, all the Tatmadaw members and their families have been able to overcome the difficulties.

They must continue to overcome. Unity is most fundamental for the existence of a  sovereign, independent nation.

To overcome such difficulties and challenges, the health and fitness of every Tatmadaw member and family is crucial.

They need to pursue a healthy lifestyle and living to stay fit. As the 60 codes of soldier conduct has stated a systematic lifestyle of every soldier, they need to follow it. The attempts of some powerful countries and the terrorist organizations to pressure Myanmar politically, economically and socially and with a media weapon must be thwarted by Tatmadaw members in a dutiful and loyal manner.

They must try to become the Tatmadaw members on whom the State can rely.

Next, the Vice-Senior General presented foodstuffs for the Tatmadaw members to the commandant. Lt-Gen Aung Zaw Aye also provided sports equipment.

Then, the Vice-Senior General visited cow and pig farm and left necessary instructions.

Later, the Vice-Senior General and party had lunch together with the trainees at the mess hall of the training school.
