Ceremony to mark successful naming of Sasana Beikman Aggadhipati Visongama Ordination Hall to be built in Maravijaya Buddha Park held

The ceremony to mark the successful naming of Sasana Beikman Aggadhipati Visongama Ordination Hall to be built in Maravijaya Buddha Park, Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, Union Territory, was held this morning.
Present at the ceremony were 54 members of the Sangha led by Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Bhaddanta Janinda, the principal of Paukmyaing Monastery, Leway, Nay Pyi Taw, and Sayadaw Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Bhaddanta Acinna of Maha Thihanada Monastery, Tatkon, Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, SAC members General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San, Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun, Mahn Nyein Maung, U Sai Lone Hsai, Dr Banya Aung Moe, U Shwe Kyein, Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, Secretary Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway, Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Chief Justice U Tun Tun Oo, Chairman of Constitutional Tribunal U Tha Htay, Chairman of Union Election Commission U Thein Soe, Union ministers, Union auditor general, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman, chairman of Central Bank of Myanmar, the chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander and officials.
Members of the Sangha performed the naming ceremony in accord with the religious rules and Ovada of the past successive Sayadaws.
Then, the ceremony to mark the successful naming of the ordination hall was opened by reciting Namotasa three times.
The religious verses to dispense metta were first recited by Sayadaws, and then by laypersons.
The name of the ordination hall supplicated by Ovadacariya Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhammajotika Bhaddanta Vimala Buddhi for erection of Maravijaya Buddha Image was approved by Sayadaw’s who recited Sadhu three times.
The master of ceremonies declared the success of the ceremony and the ceremony ended with three times the recitation of Buddha Sasanamcirantithatu.
After the ceremony, the Senior General, SAC members, the secretary, the joint secretary, Union ministers and well-wishers presented offertories to members of the Sangha.
The Senior General inspected the scale model of the ordination hall and looked into the requirements presented by officials.
12 Sayadaws led by Pali Sayadaw conducted religious services in accord with the Viniya and religious traditions on 23 April;
117 Sayadaws from 24 to 26 April, and 54 members of the Sangha led by Paukmyaing Monastery Sayadaw and Maha Thihanada Monastery Sayadaw this morning to free the land plot of the ordination hall from all dangers and to name the ordination hall.
The ordination hall project was realized in accord with the Ovada of Sayadaws and directives of the Senior General. It will be a 208-foot by 205-foot hall that can accommodate 180 members of the Sangha on the stage, and 1,890 laypersons on the two stands located on each side and at the centre hall. It will become the largest ordination hall of the country.
