The Information Team of the State Administration Council held the 15th Press Conference at the Ministry of Information this afternoon, attended by Leader of the Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, member of the Union Election Commission U Khin Maung Oo, members of the SAC Information Team, representatives of ministries, officials of the Tatmadaw Information Team, guests, and reporters of local news agencies, newspapers, local TV channels, locally based foreign news agencies.
Before the press conference, officials performed COVID-19 preventive arrangements for the people who attended the press conference and placed them in accordance with the set social distance rule.
Leader of the Information Team Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun gave a detailed PowerPoint Presentation on the energetic efforts the governments of successive periods and Tatmadaw have made together with the ethnic peoples to restore peace as peace and stability ensures national development, facts contained in the nationwide ceasefire agreement (NCA), EAOs that signed the NCA, the sectors approved during the successive governments and the remaining sectors, peace talks Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held with leaders and two delegation members of EAOs he had invited, the endeavours the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs carried out in the interest of literature, language. cultural heritage and traditions of ethnic races, the government’s support to generate job opportunities for
