Peace delegation led by Vice Chair of Arakan Liberation Party (ALP) arrives in Nay Pyi Taw to participate in peace talks offered by the SAC Chairman

AS Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on 22 April called for peace talks with ethnic armed organizations-EAOs to restore perpetual peace in the country and an end to the armed conflicts, a peace delegation led by Vice Chair of the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP) Daw Saw Mra Razar Lin left Sittway, Rakhine State by Tatmadaw aircraft, for Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
At the Sittway Airport, the peace delegation was seen off by officials from the Sittway Station, department officials, ethnic cultural groups, and local people who supported the country’s stability, peace, and development by holding vinyl posters reading “Peace talks succeed!”.
On arrival at the Nay Pyi Taw Airport, the delegation was welcomed by members of the National Solidarity and Peace-making Negotiation Committee and ethnic people from the Department of Fine Arts, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, department staff, and local people who wants peace holding the Myanmar miniature flags and placards bearing, “Perpetual Peace is the real aspiration of the people”, “Achieving peace is the true desire of all citizens”, “Let’s hold talks for peace in the Union”, “Only the ethnic nationalities are in unity, stability, peace and tranquility will be achieved”.
