The Vice-Senior General said it is the third work coordination meeting and the first one was held on 14 March 2022. Since 21 April, data on NRCs have been compiled and stored.
Departmental personnel of regions and states, UEC staff, staff of Ministry of Immigration and Population, Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members and volunteers totaling over 3,600 took part in the task with the help of over 3,000 computers. Thanks to the collective cooperation of the region and states, the written list of over 51 million NRCs could be computerized within two months.
The second stage involves the task of checking the facts contained in form 66/6 with the list of form (4). Cross examinations between regions and states and ward- and village-wise field tours will be conducted only after the completion of the second stage. After the completion of nation-wise field tours, all the lists and tables will be stored in the SAC-established National Database correctly and safely.
By using the data stored in the National Database Main Server the relevant departments will be able to conduct necessary factchecking earlier. Hence, work programs of stage 2 and stage 3 must be carried out systematically in a timely manner. Only then will the election be free, fair and genuine and based on exact lists. Ongoing cooperation is required in collecting data for the immigration process that is beneficial for the citizens and departments.
