Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds working meeting with dignitaries of Defence Ministry of Russian Federation

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in the Russian Federation, met dignitaries of the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation, on behalf of Defence Minister Army General Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu, at the parlour of the Russian Defence Ministry on the afternoon of 11 July.
Also present together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, Myanmar Ambassador to Russia U Lwin Oo and Myanmar Military Attaché (Army, Navy and Air) Brig-Gen Moe Kyaw.
Both sides cordially discussed strengthening of the existing bilateral friendship and military technical cooperation between the two armed forces, the ongoing and continued participation of Myanmar’s Tatmadaw in defence capacity building contests and trainings in Russia, Myanmar’s political changes and multi-sectorial cooperation between the two governments and between the two armed forces.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the dignitaries of the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation exchanged emblems and gifts.
