Myanmar Tatmadaw Tank Team wins first prize in 11-nation Tank Biathlon (Tank Crews Competition) Division-2, of International Army Games-2022

Myanmar Tatmadaw Tank Team deservedly won the first prize in the Tank Biathlon (Tank Crews Competition) Division-2 of the International Army Games-2022 that kicked start on 15 August in Russian Federation.
Together with other teams from Syria, Laos, Iran, Tajikistan, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Armenia, and Mali, the Myanmar Tatmadaw team took part in full-speed record taking, immobile three 125mm-round firing, immobile 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun 15-round firing, and immobile 7.62mm mounted machine gun 15-round firing contests.
Myanmar Team won the first prize by finishing the 11-nation contest in one hour 36 minutes 25 seconds and hit 14 targets out of 15.Crew-1 of the Team finished the contest in 27 minutes 43 seconds; Crew-2, 38 minutes 14 seconds; and Crew-2, 30 minutes 28 seconds.
Myanmar Tatmadaw Tank Team has taken part in the Tank Biathlon for five times including the present contests.
The Team took the 16th position among the 22 teams in 2018; the 5th position in Division-2 among the 11 teams in 2019; 4th position in Division-2 among the eight teams in 2020; and third place in Division-2 among the eight teams in 2021. Moreover, the Team also gained experience in international military contests, technical knowledge and new friendships.
The team representing Myanmar Tatmadaw took part in three events out of the seven of the Third CISM World Cadet Games and won the 8th place among the 20 participating countries.
Myanmar Tatmadaw teams are taking part in Military Medical Relay Race (Medical Staff Competition) and Sniper Frontier of the International Army Games-2022. A traditional culture team representing the Tatmadaw is also participating in Army of Culture, a related competition.
