Third Monsoon Tree-planting Ceremony (2022) of families of Office of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services (Army, Navy and Air) held

The Third Monsoon Treeplanting Ceremony (2022) of families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services (Army, Navy and Air) was held near Yezin Dam in Zeyathiri Township this morning and Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing opened the ceremony by planting a precious teak seedling.
Also present at the ceremony were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the wife of the Senior General, Vice Chairman of SAC Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe, union ministers and wives, the Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and wife, the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw command and wife, trainee senior military officers from the National Defence College and officers and other ranks from the departments of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) and their families.
First, the Senior General and wife opened the ceremony by planting a precious teak seedling.
Then, the Vice-Senior General and wife and union ministers and wives, the Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and wife, the Commander-in-Chief (Air) and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) and wives and participating officers and other ranks and families planted seedlings at designated places. Afterwards, the Senior General and wife and party inspected the treeplanting activities of officers and other ranks and families.
At today’s ceremony, a total of 4,304 seedlings including 2,152 precious teak seedlings, 1,076 gum kino seedlings, 807 shady wind-screening manjansha seedlings, 269 Burmese rosewood seedlings were planted. For the conservation of the environment and ecosystem in the surrounding area of Yezin Dam, the families of the Office and the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) planted a total of 181,357 seedlings including precious trees, perennial trees and shady and wind screen trees during the period the period from 2011 to the third tree-planting ceremony 2022.
Similarly, monsoon tree-planting ceremonies were held today in respective military commands and precious trees, industrial crops, perennial trees and shady and wind screen trees were planted. Commanders and officers and other ranks planted 21,550 seedlings in Nay Pyi Taw Command, 17,781 seedlings in Northern Command, 10,067 seedlings in Northeastern Command, 7,186 seedlings in Eastern Command, 22,243 seedlings in Eastern Central Command, 17,695 seedlings in Triangle Region Command, 4,007 seedlings in Southeastern Command, 11,058 seedlings in Coastal Region Command, 18,248 seedlings in Yangon Command, 20,464 seedlings in Southwestern Command, 15,389 seedlings in Western Command, 9,260 seedlings in Northwestern Command, 29,834 seedlings in Central Command, 21,584 seedlings in Southern Command and 4,304 seedlings in the compound of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army) today, totaling 230,670 seedlings.
