Union ministers and deputy ministers who accompany Chairman of the State Administrat-ion Council Prime Minister Se-nior General Min Aung Hlaing held discussions on respective sectors today.
Union Ministers U Win Shein and Dr Kan Zaw attended the Russia-ASEAN Business Dia-logue.
Mr. Ivan Polyakov, Chief Ex-ecutive Officer of the Interstate Corporation for Development of Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russia-ASEAN Busi-ness Council led the discussions, participated by Union Mini-ster for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw together with business-persons of the Russian Federat-ion and Indonesia and officials of Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Union Ministers U Win Shein, Dr Kan Zaw and U Hla Moe, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar Daw Than Than Swe and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut met with Chief Executive Officer of the Interstate Corporation for Development of Russian Fed-eration and Chairman of the Russia-ASEAN Business Council Mr. Ivan Polyakov and party, and discussed economic cooperation between Myanmar and Russia. After the meeting, they posed for documentary photos.
Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win attended the Medical Panel Session of the Eastern Economic Forum-2022 and discussed difficulties in health system, efforts to over-come these difficulties, potential for grasping the opportunities through cooperation among countries, applying the advanced technologies in diagnostic measures, treatment for can-cer, control of rapid infected di-seases and plans to share these technologies and Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw also held dis-cussions on salient points for reforming the measures in the post-COVID-19 education system at the Strategic Technical Alli-ance of the forum.
Deputy Minister for Infor-mation Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun signed an agreement between Sputnik news agency, the State-owned media and Myawady TV and discussed plans to promote cooperation in development of media sector.
