Dutifully serving duties in individuals correctly is to build the capable, powerful armed forces

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing this afternoon met with officers, other ranks and families of Pyay and Padaung stations at Nawade Hall of Pyay Station.
Also present at the meeting were Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Southern Command and officials, officers, other ranks and families of Pyay Station.
First, the Senior General said he came to Pyay Station for the first time after the State Administration Council assumes the State responsibilities and explained declaration of the state of emergency by the Tatmadaw on the political ground and taking State responsibilities.
The Senior General went on to say that the Tatmadaw taking State responsibilities formed the State Administration Council and adopted the fivepoint roadmap and nine objectives.
Political unrests and violence acts were controlled under the law. At a time when the COVID-19 broke out, the country faced crises. The government, the people and the Tatmadaw harmoniously strived for overcoming these challenges successfully.
The Senior General recounted his experiences that he himself contacted foreign countries to seek the vaccinations for COVID-19 as quickly as possible. Thanks to helps and disciplinery acts of the dutiful people, the difficulties and requirements could be solved.
Myanmar is endowed with fertile soil and good water in addition to food sufficiency.
Although COVID-19 broke out, farmers did not halt agriculture and livestock farms. So the country was sufficient for foods.
At present, as Myanmar gains economic development, efforts are being made for ensuring peace and stability. The country faces attacks of EAOs and socalled PDF terrorists. Currently, as PDF terrorists take the people as a shield in their attacks, the Tatmadaw members and the people are to join hands to counterattack the terror acts. In their times, the State Law and Order Restoration Council and the State Peace and Development Council carried out construction tasks. As some weaknesses happened in administrative measures in construction tasks, some people did not satisfy with the efforts of the Tatmadaw.
In his tenure of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services as of 2010, the Senior General recounted that military building tasks have been gaining momentum with success of agriculture and livestock farms.
The Tatmadaw and the people could join hands to raise the relations.
In 2011-2020 democratic government period, some local and foreign unscrupulous persons instigated the Tatmadaw and the people wishing not to cement the relations between them. As such, instability events happened in the political changes in 2021.
The Tatmadaw is an institution carrying out the State defence duty. Tatmadaw members need to always take training on defending subjects.
They have to constantly take training for health and fitness.
Tatmadaw members need to follow disciplines under the supervisions of officials at different levels.
When it comes to the COVID-19 crisis, commodity prices were high in the second wave, but measures were taken to control it to a certain degree.
Now, cases are increasing again.
So, care and consideration are necessary. It is required for people to lead a healthy life and adapt to climatic conditions.
Not only a person himself but also his family members need to follow the COVID-19 rules.
Regarding education, one needs to learn knowledgeable publications and encourage one’s own family members to improve their education. It is necessary to improve one’s own life through education. Every local unit and battalion needs to engage in agricultural and livestock breeding activities.
Individuals also needs to do that on a manageable scale.
If that’s so, there will be less spending on food from outside and income can be saved.
There were various, coordinated attacks to cause financial problems when the Tatmadaw started assuming State duties. The State is making allout efforts to reduce prices of fuel oil, cooking oil and other commodities. When shouldering duties, all Tatmadaw members need to act in a correct way. If each soldier serves his duties conscientiously, the Tatmadaw will remain as a capable one, the Senior General said.
Next, the Senior General presented foodstuffs for the Tatmadaw officers and other ranks to the station commander and the wife of the Senior General cash awards for the station maternal and child welfare association to the commander’s wife. Then, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye presented publications for the Tatmadaw members and their families to the station commander.
After the meeting, the Senior General cordially greeted those in attendance.
