Patron of the Organizing Leading Committee on the 23rd Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win watched the Ramayana play contest at the audition hall of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture in Nay Pyi Taw today.
The Vice-Senior General, together with Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander, deputy ministers and officials and judges of the contest, enjoyed the amateur level (first class) of the Ramayana drama contest in which the Ramayana drama troupe representing Mandalay Region contested with a combination of singing, crying and talking acting, dances and other artistic skills.
The amateur level (first class) of the Ramayana drama contest had been held since 12 October with the participating troupes from Yangon, Magway, Ayeyawady, Bago and Mandalay regions.
