SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win meets cultural troupes, students who will participate in Diamond Jubilee Independence Day celebration
Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win visited and cordially greeted the ethnic cultural troupes from various regions and states staying at Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Centre, and the students staying at Nay Pyi Taw Transit and Guesthouse (Ywadaw) this evening prior to their participation in the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day celebration.
First, the Vice-Senior General arrived at Gold Medal Hall of Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Centre where he met with the ethnic traditional cultural troupes from the regions and states and spoke words of encouragement. Next, the Vice-Senior General, Union Ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, U Ko Ko and U Min Thein Zan, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin, Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and Deputy Minister U Myo Hlaing presented Pathein parasols to the ethnic cultural troupes.
Then, the Vice-Senior General viewed the hostels where the ethnic cultural troupes are staying, and gave necessary instructions to officials.
Afterwards, the Vice-Senior General and party went to Nay Pyi Taw Transit and Guesthouse (Ywadaw) where the students who are participating in the Independence Day celebration are staying. He cordially greeted and encouraged them. Then, the Vice-Senior General, Union Ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, U Ko Ko, Dr Myo Thein Kyaw and U Min Thein Zan, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Tin Oo Lwin, and Deputy Ministers Dr Zaw Myint and U Zaw Win presented Pathien parasols to the students.
Later, the Vice-Senior General and party looked round the hostels where the students are staying and the mess hall. He stressed the need for officials to arrange meals and accommodationfor the convenience of the students and provide other requirements.
