Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visits Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) School and the Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery in Lahe and make donations in cash and kind

Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by the members of the trip, the Chief Minister of Sagaing Region, the Commander of North West Command, the Chairman of Naga Self Administered Zone Administration Body and officials, went to the Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) School and the Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery in Lahe this morning and made donations in cash and kind.
Firstly, the Senior General and party arrived at the Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) School and paid homage to the Presiding Sayadaw Saddhamma Jotikadhaka Bhaddanta Sumana and monks. Then, the Senior General made queries on matters on propagation of the Sasana and children’s learning of education and made donations in cash and kind. The Senior General also donated Ks-5 million for the teachers who discharge duties at the Theravada Buddhist Missionary (Central) School.
Afterwards, the Senior General took a tour of the Buddhist missionary school and gave instructions to local officials on longterm durability and existence of the school and measures to be taken constantly for keeping the school campus clean.
Then, the Senior General and party arrived at Theravada Buddhist Missionary Nunnery and paid homage to Buddhist Nun Daw Pyinnya Theingi and Buddhist nuns. The Senior General made queries on matters of the Sasana and education and made donations in cash and kind.
Later, the Senior General took a tour of the Buddhist missionary nunnery and dinning hall and fulfilled the needs. The Senior General also gave necessary instructions to the officials for longterm durability and existence of the nunnery.
