A delegation led by Madame Budsakorn Srisawasdi, the wife of Chief of Defence Forces of Royal Thai Armed Forces General Chalermphon Srisawasdi, paid homage to famous pagodas and visited landmarks in Thandwe together with Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the wife of Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, and wives of senior military officers paid homage to famous pagodas and visited landmarks in Thandwe today.
First, the delegation led by the wife of the Thai General, together with wives of senior military officers arrived at the Shwe Andaw Pagoda in the morning and they were greeted by members of the pagoda board of trustees. Then, they offered oil lights, flowers, water and fruits and paid homage to the pagoda. Afterwards, they presented cash donations for the pagoda to the members of the pagoda board of trustees.
Then, they proceeded to the Shwe Nandaw Pagoda and paid homage to the pagoda.
In the afternoon, the delegation led by the wife of the Thai General together with the wife of the Senior General and wives of senior military officers, visited the Amazing Ngapali Resort and viewed Rakhine traditional looms and handicrafts before enjoying Rakhine traditional music and dance performed by the hotel.
Then, they presented cash rewards for the traditional dance troupe and posed for documentary photographs together with the troupe.
