UEC gives presentation on set up of Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) to Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing

The Union Election Commission presented a report on setting up the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM) to Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the Office of Chairman of State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw this evening.
The presentation was also attended by Vice-Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Secretary of the Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway, Joint-Secretary of the Council Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Members of the Council General Mya Tun Oo, Admiral Tin Aung San and Lt-Gen Soe Htut, Chairman of Union Election Commission U Thein Soe and officials.
Firstly, an official of UEC gave a presentation on test of setting up MEVM including operation of control unit, balloting unit, verification unit, ballot box and battery, machines installed and used in system, aim of using them, consideration and suggestion, matters to be prepared for producing the machine in large quantity and the needs.
Then, the Senior General and the attendees watched the test run of MEVM. The Senior General also gave necessary instructions.
