Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Credentials from the newly accredited Cambodian Ambassador to Myanmar
H.E. Mr. CHUM Angvichet at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am today.
Next, a cordial discussion was made on Cambodia’s support for Myanmar and belief in Myanmar’s peace process, promotion of diplomatic ties, friendship and cooperation, Cambodia’s assistance for Myanmar when it faced the COVID-19 pandemic and a plan to provide more COVID-19 vaccines, extension of direct flights for boosting bilateral tourism, and promotion of cooperation in religious affairs, education and trade.
After the call, the Senior General and the Cambodian Ambassador posed for a documentary photo.
Also present were Joint Secretary of the SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, and Director-General of the Protocol Department U Wunna Han. The Cambodian Ambassador was accompanied by officials from the Cambodian Embassy and Military Attaché’s Office.
