The Chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee, Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council, Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, accompanied by the members, visited Sittwe and inspected the local battalions in Sittwe and Yathedaung stations and gave words of encouragement to officers, other ranks and families.

In addition, the Vice-Senior General and party visited the local medical battalion in Sittwe and met and gave words of encouragement to officers, other ranks and family members, who are receiving treatment at the hospital. They provided food to the patients, inspected around the hospital, and coordinated to fulfill the needs.
