Ceremony to convey Buddha Image to Maravijaya Temple and Naungdawgyi Buddha Image to Sasana Beikman Agga Dipati Visongama Ordination Hall held

Ceremony to convey a Buddha Image to Maravijaya Temple in Maravijaya Buddha Park, Dekkhinathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, Union Territory, where the Maravijaya Buddha Image is under construction, and Naungdawgyi Buddha Image to Sasana Beikman Agga Dipati Visongama Ordination Hall was held this morning, attending by main donor Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Present to pay homage to the Buddha images together with the Senior General were his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, SAC Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and wife, Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chair U Tin Oo Lwin and wife, the Commander-in-Chief (Navy) and wife, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander, officials and members of religious associations.
The ceremony to convey the Buddha Image to Maravijaya Temple donated by the main donor Senior General and wife and family was opened by reciting namotassa three times.
The congregation led by the Senior General recited religious verses three times and dispensed metta.
The master of ceremonies read out Mingala Akhadaw, and at the auspicious time, the Senior General put the Buddha Image to the Yadana Throne by pushing the auspicious button.
The Senior General and attendees sprinkled scented holy water on the Image and recited religious verses to mark the success of the ceremony. Merits gained were shared.
Afterwards, the ceremony to convey Naungdawgyi Buddha Image to Sasana Beikman Agga Dipati Visongama Ordination Hall was opened by reciting namotassa three times.
The congregation led by the Senior General and wife recited religious verses and dispensed metta.
The MC read out the Maravijaya Buddha Puja Vandanapakama Asisa and Mingala Akhadaw, and at the auspicious time, the Senior General put the Buddha Image onto the throne in the ordination hall by pushing the auspicious button.
The Senior General and attendees sprinkled scented holy water on the Image. Religious verses were recited to mark the success of the ceremony. Merits gained were shared.
The ceremony was concluded by reciting Buddha sasanam ciratithatu three times.
The Senior General and wife threw confetti to mark the success of the ceremony.
