Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win leaves for Qingdao to attend green development forum of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)

Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win left here for People’s Republic of China by special flight this morning to attend the green development forum of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that would be held in Qingdao, Shandong Province PRC on 8 and 9 July.
The delegation led by the Vice-Senior General was seen off at Nay Pyi Taw Airport by SAC Secretary Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dway, SAC member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San, SAC member U Wunna Maung Lwin, Union Minister at SAC Chairman’s Office 1 Admiral Moe Aung, Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries U Min Naung, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Nay Pyi Taw Command commander, deputy ministers, and officials of PRC Embassy in Myanmar.
The delegation led by the Vice-Senior General arrived in Kunming at 11.15 am local standard time, and was welcomed by Director General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yunnan Province People’s Government Mr. Zhang Shijin, Consul General U Thwin Htet Lin and officials at Kunming Airport. While in Kunming, the Vice Governor of the province Mr. Wang Hao called on the Vice-Senior and delegation at the special lounge of the airport.
The delegation led by the Vice-Senior General arrived in Qingdao at 5.30 pm local standard time, and was welcomed by Myanmar Ambassador to China U Tin Maung Swe, Vice General Secretary of Chinese Communist Party, Qingdao Municipal Area, Ms Lin Ping and officials. From the airport, the Vice-Senior General and the delegation proceeded to Qingdao Sea View Garden Hotel where they would temporarily stay.
Members of the delegation led by the Vice-Senior General included Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Min Thu, and senior officials of SAC Vice Chairman’s Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
