Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win, along with senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Yangon Command commander, and officials, visited the Defence Services Orthopedics Hospital (500 beds) in Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region, this afternoon, and comforted the senior officers, other ranks and families receiving medical treatment.
On arrival at the hospital, the Vice-Senior General and party were welcomed by the commandant and officials.
The Vice-Senior General and party visited the patients individually, asked about their improved health, comforted them, and gave away food and honorary cash awards to them.
After that, the Vice-Senior General presented cash awards to the health workers who are serving in the hospital and the officials received them. Then, the Vice-Senior General and party toured the hospital and left necessary instructions.
In the afternoon, the Vice-Senior General met the Yangon Command commander and commanding officers and officials from the stations under the control of Yangon Command at the meeting hall of the command and discussed regional security affairs.
