Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing holds talks with Cambodian Upper House Speaker Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN through video conferencing

This morning, Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing held talks with Cambodian Upper House Speaker Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN through video conferencing.

They exchanged greetings and discussed the positive relations between their countries. They talked about Cambodia's assistance during the COVID-19 outbreak and the Mocha storm in Myanmar, as well as Myanmar's active participation in the ASEAN group. They also discussed the State Administration Council's commitment to the five-point roadmap and its ongoing implementation.

Additionally, they addressed preparations for a free and fair multi-party democratic general election, including the census of the population and household contents. They also discussed efforts to hold the election successfully in line with Myanmar's constitution (2008) and Cambodia's support in ASEAN. Moreover, Cambodia expressed its willingness to share its election experience.

Accompanying the Senior General at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister, and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, along with other officials.
