Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepts credentials of Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Myanmar

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of H.E. Ms. Ma Jia, the newly-accredited Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman, Nay Pyi Taw, at 10 am today.
Afterwards, both sides cordially exchanged views on long-lasting Myanmar- China relations along the history, establishment of a community through thick and thin in accord with the five principles of peaceful co-existence by the two good old friends, deepening of mutual trust and cooperation between the two neighbouring countries, Myanmar’s political developments, successful implementation of projects for progress of both nations, based on mutual interest, promotion of defence cooperation, security cooperation, border area peace and stability and resumption of border trade routes, further promotion of multi-sector cooperation between the two countries, Chinese stand in connection with Myanmar on the international front, continuous Chinese support for Myanmar five-point roadmap.
Also present on occasion were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Director-General of the Proto- col Department U Zaw Tun Oo.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the PRC Ambassador posed for group documentary photos.
