In so doing, some statements are found to be constructive while others are found to have intentions to exert undue political pressure on Myanmar based on information emanating from unverifiable sources, anti-government organisations, media and terrorist groups in Myanmar.

MYANMAR nationals from abroad are being welcomed at various border  crossings this month.

On 19 January, a total of 176 returnees 90 males and 86 females came back home through Muse, northern Shan State and 10 returnees six males and four females  through Chinshwehaw, respectively. One male also came back home through Laukkai and 179 returnees  124 males and 55 females through Tachilek.

THE border camps receive Myanmar returnees from foreign countries. A total  of 25 people 14 males and 11 females  returned to Muse Township of Shan State (North) via land borders, while another 17 returnees eight males and nine females  to Chinshwehaw Town and 73 returnees  41 males and 32 females to Laukkai Township on 18 January.

Moreover, 201 people 112 males and 89 females returned to Myawady Township of Kayin State on 18 January.

Russian-made Sputnik Light vaccines rolled out in states, regions

The Ministry of Health is making concerted efforts in vaccination  programmes according to the target groups in Nay Pyi Taw and  regions,states.

The government vaccinated 4,050 people against COVID-19 using Sputnik Light vaccines, which are purchased and received from Russia as a gesture of bilateral friendship, in Hlinethaya, Shwepyitha and Insein townships of Yangon Region yesterday.
