India’s worst COVID-hit state to reopen Cinema halls in October

India’s western state of Maharashtra has decided to reopen cinema halls and drama theaters in the state from October 22.

The reopening of the cinema halls, which are shut since April after the 2nd wave of COVID-19 struck, are subject to compliance of the standard operating procedure to be issued shortly to curb the spread of coronavirus, said Uddhav Thackeray, chief minister of the state on Saturday.

Bicycle rental, photograph service and public toilet service in the National Race Village in Yangon Region will seek private contractors under a sealed tender/ bidding system, according to sources released by the Union National Race Village (Yangon).

Eleven businesses owned by the Village under the Ethnic Literature and Literature De-partment of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs will be contra-cted for private service for six months from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022.
