Families of Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) held the second monsoon tree-planting ceremony for 2022 near Yezin Dam, Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw. Chairman of State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing planted a Yadana teak sampling at the ceremony this morning.

Judgement of the International Court of Justice (ICJ)

on the preliminary objections raised by Myanmar

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar takes note of today’s decision by the International Court of Justice to reject the preliminary objections raised by Myanmar relating to the application filed by The Gambia on 11 November 2019, alleging violations by Myanmar of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

State to provide house rent allowance for civil servants

In accordance with the decision of the Prime Minister-led meeting 6/2022 of the Economic Committee of the Republic of Union of Myanmar, which was held today, civil servants (permanent) will be provided with house rent allowance (HRA).

Married civil servants will receive eight percent of their basic salary as HRA and singles,four percent of their basic salary.
