Over 800,000 pilgrims, 411 tourists visit Shwedagon Pagoda as of May second week

There are 807,336 local visitors and 411 foreign visitors to the renowned Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon between 1 and 15 May, said the Pagoda Board of Trustees.

According to the data from 1 to 15 May, a total of 807,747 visitors – 5,945 monks, 3,817 nuns, 356,442 males (local), 441,132 females (local), 258 male foreigners and 153 female foreigners visited the pagoda.
