   Six locals including three children of ages between 12 and 14 years were killed by shortrange rockets when the shells fired by terrorist insurgents landed and exploded in ward 1, area 3, Lashio, Shan State (North).

1. Myanmar mainly operates agriculture and farming-based manufacturing, farming produce exports, and agricultural produce-based MSMEs that benefit both domestic and global food security to a certain extent. All farmers and private farming businesspeople rely on and receive banking services, including agricultural loans, loans for livestock breeding, rural development loans, and small short-term loans.

    A UN Human Rights Council report issued on 26 June 2024 said that some international banks, local State-owned banks and private banks were involved in Myanmar’s human rights violations, and called for action against them.

The UN Special Rapporteur's report on 26 June 2024 accused international banks, state-owned banks and some local private banks of facilitating some transactions that violate human rights in Myanmar and called for action.
